Getting up when the chips are down is what life’s all about, especially for New Jersey threesome A Lifelike Story. Despite pit falls and uncertainly, Bryan Welsh (guitar) Garrett Hoffman (bass) and new member Chris Mueller (drums) deliver alternative pop-rock that the staff at AbsolutePunk.net raves as “professional, polished, and dangerously catchy.”

A Lifelike Story dropped their debut EP, “Flowers for Wednesday,” in July 2008. The four-track emotional rollercoaster soars through ballads and aggressively guitar-driven sounds. The success of their first release has gained them radio exposure at several universities, endorsements from Beast Attire and Hartke, a five-star rating on iTunes and performances alongside the scene’s hottest up-and-comers Automatic Loveletter, Rookie of the Year, Jet Lag Gemini, School Boy Humor, The Morning Of and Driver Side Impact.
